How to use this site
Q: How do I find what I am looking for?
Browse the contents of the site using the menu on the left. Clicking on an item in the list will give you more details and enable you to add the part to your virtual basket shown in the top right hand corner of every page. And you can recall the full details of your basket at any time by clicking on the basket icon. Continue to browse the site and add as many items to the basket as you like.
Q: How do I know how much I will be charged for delivery and packing?
When you place an item in the basket, the packaging and delivery costs will automatically be calculated and displayed. You do not need to go searching all over the place for this information.

Once you are happy with the contents of your basket, have read our terms and conditions and are ready to place an order, click on either the Google Checkout or the PayPal buttons which will appear at the bottom of the page.
Using Google Checkout: If you already have a Google checkout account you can login and finalise your order straight away using your existing payment details. If you do not have one then you will need to create one before you can place your order.
Using PayPal: You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay with your card through PayPal. If you do have a PayPal account, you can login and finalise your order as usual. If you do not have one then you have the choice to open an account or just use PayPal to process your card payment.
Q: How do I pay for an order?
With Google Checkout and PayPal options, you have the choice to pay by credit or debit cards using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch and Solo. In addition you can pay using any funding options that you have set up with your PayPal account when you use the PayPal option.
When you buy items on line on any site, you will generally have to create a new login and give your personal and financial information including your card details. This means that over time you end up with many copies of your sensitive data all over the internet, outside of your control and on sites that you may never buy from again.
With Google Checkout you can use the same login details on many sites and a running record is kept of your transactions so you can manage all your web shopping in one place. It also means that you only share your credit card details once (Red Dog Racing do not see your card details) and you can shop with us and many other sites across the web with confidence, knowing that Google will protect you from unauthorised purchases.

Q: Do you charge VAT?
Because Red Dog Racing is a small business, we do not charge VAT.
Order Processing
Q: What happens next?
Once you have placed your order, you will get notification from Google Checkout that your order has been sent to us or will be returned to a thank you screen from PayPal, and we will begin to process your order. Although you will have authorised your card for the cost of the order, we will only request payment via Google Checkout when we are ready to dispatch your order. For PayPal payments, payment is sent at the time of order.
Q: When will my order be dispatched?
All orders for items that are fully in stock, placed before 12.00pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched within the following 48hrs. If they are not in stock, we will contact you and inform you of a projected dispatch date.
Q: How do I go about returning an item for whatever reason?

Q: Does your site use cookies?
This site, like all e-commerce sites, uses cookies to track your shopping basket across the site. Most people nowadays have cookies turned on for this reason.
You can turn off cookies in your web browser and most browsers provide a means to delete the cookies on your computer. Please see your browsers help for how to do this. However you will not be able to buy using this site if you do.
Red Dog Racing does not use cookies to track anything other than your basket and the cookie and hence the basket content will be cleared when you close the browser.
Q: Is the site safe?
All card processing is handled by Google Checkout or by PayPal and at no time does Red Dog Racing view any of your card payment details. This is as secure a method of payment as we can make it. These companies, being large and respected organisations are much better placed than us to keep your data safe from hackers.
Red Dog Racing will not pass on your details to anyone without your express permission. We may send you the occasional e-mail about new products but only if you have given us your permission.

Q: Your site content is spread randomly all over the place. What's wrong?
Because of the differences between browsers in displaying content, it can be very difficult to write code so that all versions of all web browsers display the content in the same way.
This website is developed using Firefox 2 and 3, Opera 9, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 7 and 8. If parts of the site are miss-aligned, it my well be worth upgrading to the latest version of your browser if you have not already done so. All these are free downloads.
